# Attack speed on 1176?

Hey Teezio, what made you decide to use faster attack on 1176 than usual,
I thought you always on default settings, like Mid attack 12 o’clock.
cuz I’ve seen yo breakdown like more 5~6 series
And I guess this the first time I seen you changed it.

Yes I change it to faster attack when I feel like the compressor is lagging a bit on hitting the transients I use a blend of input gain and attack adjustment to get the vocal sitting right for that step
