Hello Mike,
I really appreciate your video series here at MWTM. I am a fan of your work - so many great albums You were involved in!
I would like to know a little better your workflow. What are your first moves after listening to the song You are about to master? Do You try to get the desired level first by feeding/driving your converter? And then You react to what You hear by using eq? Or maybe You start with EQ and then achieve desired level? What’s your approach? As I understand You would use a converter as a fast limiter. Do You also use some limiter after „cliping" your converter? Would it be some plugin limiter with true peak settings? Thank You for your reply and time.
