As someone who’s gotten his big break in your early 30s, what do you think is the biggest change in your production from what you used to do in your 20s before you had mass appeal? Was it your mentality, ears, gear? Thank you!

Well!!! I didn’t start producing music until I was 29/30, so I don’t have much to go off of in my 20s. But I think a lot of the shift happened for me when I stopped trying to chase trends. I think I made that mistake for many years, hearing what was popular at the time and thinking that I should do that. Once I just started to make music that I really liked and believed in, and stopped caring so much if it matched with what was popular at the moment, things got better for me. I was more inspired and I got to start working with people that were inspiring me.
