In an interview with mixonline you said you wanted to retire from the music industry before the after hours album and sold all your equipment. Could you elaborate some more on that? Why did you want to quit and what changed? Thank you so much for all you are sharing

I hit a wall with the industry grind. Thought I was done. I was ready to walk away and explore life beyond music. But music started calling me back. Just like when I was a kid I remember quitting piano, thinking I was over it. Next thing I know, I’m writing my own songs. I couldn’t keep away. I’ve got this fire in me man. Music’s not just what I do, it’s who I am. I’ll be creating and writing music until my last breath. It’s funny how life teaches you. Would I change how it all went down? Maybe. But that’s the beauty of the journey. You live, you learn, you create.
