Im curious as to what point you begin automating in a mix. I’m mainly referring to volume automation but other plugin specific automation applies too.
I don’t like the idea of losing control over my main volume faders because of automation. Do you use the main channel faders for automation, and if so have you found this to be an issue for you if you need to make overall level adjustments later on? Are there any workarounds/workflows that work for you?
