Hey Teezio,

Absolutely love your work - I was wondering if you could dive a little more in depth about how you attack gain staging as a whole

I know you’re going mostly on their rough mix levels - but what if theres something that feels out of place to you from a mixers perspective?

Lastly what levels do you like your vocals to sit at or what relationship should the vocals have vs the instrumental section?

I was wondering about this too. Are the drums sitting around-9 or so?

I’d do a general -7 to -5 with the base. Always do it with the base Guitar. As the kick and base need fit together nicely so they aren’t fighting for space in the mix.
