I’ve recently been exploring the Jaycen Joshua mix template and been loving what it’s doing for my low-end! I’m running into an issue of CPU overload though. I’m on Pro Tools, running as high of a buffer as I can and I’m still maxing out. I can see the multiple instances of the NLS are really chewing up my processing, but also the amount of times Jaycen leans on Soothe to tame frequencies.
I’m wondering if anyone has any advice for how I can get this under control to actually be able to mix using this template? Right now every time I press play my system just gives me the CPU overload message so it’s nearly impossible to mix on once I get a lot loaded in.

Reading your post I realise I’m experiencing the same on M1ProMax. It was fast enough for all my mixes, even after a clean install when upgrading to Lake Tahoe. Then I stumbled upon Jaycen’s template and tried to replicate it on Cubase. After that I get CPU Overload issues about every minute. So I’ll be offloading the NLS’es first to see if that helps. If not, I’ll be offloading Sooth instances too. Thanks for helping me although your question was not about that 
I had that issue when I upgraded my interface. You need at least an m1 if you want to get out of the woods with that issue. I upgraded to an m3 and I have no issues unless my battery is dying then it starts getting hot and that message comes on. I use protools so if you don’t the term would be print, for me it’d be commit. If you don’t want to upgrade the other option is to commit the plugins on to the vocals or instruments. Start by freezing or committing everything before importing his settings. If it’s a fresh template see if you can screen shot his settings then add and print them one by one or a many as your computer can handle at a time without shutting down.
