Hi! Just wondering if you guys have a best practice for syncing your arp clocks to bpm (for analog synths without midi) – are you using a rimshot trigger or something like Valpower? Wondering if there’s a better way without access to a drum machine.

Great question! You definitely don’t need a drum machine! With arp clock inputs or gate inputs on analog synths that don’t have midi, it’s often possible to use the basic pro tools click track - I prefer the “MPC click” preset sound when triggering them because it’s got such an immediate transient. Just make sure you’re converting from balanced to unbalanced before going into a port expecting a TS cable
