i’d like to ask a question about the cuts you make on the vocals :
are them made all by ear or using the pro-q3 eq match as a starter and then keep what you think it’s necessary?

they’re all done by ear. I first take out any harsh or annoying frequencies like resonant ones then with the neutron I shape it to sound close to demo for example If the vocal in the demo is very thin and bright I would recreate the sound by ear close enough to sound like its similar to demo but usually make it sound a bit better than the OG. you don’t want to stray too far away from the demo as the artist and producer will probably ask you to make it sound closer to the demo
