All these great videos show the masters opening files that are pristine. Are there no videos about the steps between recording and mixing? The work that goes into editing and getting the tracks ready for a mix?

That’s a great video idea. Many times, either the producers have done this on their end or the mixers’ assistants have prepped this a day before mixing. There are a bunch of tools out now that can streamline this process. I think Noiseworks has a couple options.
