Best way to widen a sound

Hello leslie! Im wondering. What are the go to widening technique in hiphop/rnb productions? For the leading melodies and the pads. Some productions have these really clean lead melodies wide without a loss in mono. What is your favourite when you want a wider channel? Thanks

for this I typically use the WAVES S1 imager. Usually does the trick.
