Dialing in attack & release on limiters

im interested in seeing how mastering engineers go about dialing in their attack and release on their final limiters, do you have a typical starting point based off genre or bpm? im also interested to hear your take on cascading limiters. when you cascade limiters, do you adjust the out put ceiling on the first limiter, or do you let the secondary limiter catch the out put and adjust the ceiling on the final limiter? there are a lot of opinions on youtube and gearspace but id like to hear from a working industry professional.
