After using Jaycen’s template for a while (sounds amazing and louuuuud of course 
), I only have one problem with it.
Some client are coming with hard clipped beats with no kicks (Lil Xelly, Berrymane, Mari. type of sht) and want this kind of mixes.
But it seems like Jay’s template is an anti-fart machine, I can’t achieve this edgy sound with the template.
I tried over clipping the master bus (erg), clip the 808 track while tweaking transients, tweaking transformer 2, parallel comp and saturation on the 808, etc
Nothing to do…
Imo this sound comes from the sum of all raw tracks in the clipper (when 808 hits, HH jumps and melodies ducks)
The way I can be the nearest is by rooting all my tracks directly into the clipper, and then root the entire beat in Jay’s drumbus.
But I know it could be better…
So somebody has the same problem, or a hint to solve it?
