Q&A w Leslie Brathwaite

Hey Leslie, Thanks for all your insights and tips and creativity that you share. 2 questions, both re reverb: 1) I have a basic lead vcl patch that includes reverb. If I feel I am not getting enough reverb, can I simply add an aux with additional reverb and add to the basic -eg now 2 reverbs. and 2) If I want a reverb tail which would be diff than the basic reverb I use in my vcl chain, should I again create an aux and automate a reverb tail? thank you. There are no wrong answers here. Adding another aux with another reverb is totally fine if you achieve the desired goal. I usually have reverbs on 2 separate auxes. One is usually short and one is typically long. I tend to have the long one a lot lower just to provide the tail effect. But again, just do what works for you. Add what you need to add to achieve the desired sound, there are no rules.
