Tempo change affecting vocals? [Using "complex pro" or equiv]

Hi Dan,

Some of us wanted to clarify if you could record Chappels lead vocals at 120 bpm and then just tweak it to 116/117 without having any impact on the vocal sound (thanks to pro tools complex pro alg.) or if you then re-recorded the lead vocal with the tempo changes (i.e. 117 n 116 resp.)?

Also - just out of curiousity - do you record in 44.1kz or 48kz in your daw?
