How you handle the transients in instrumentals?
Well it depends. Honestly in most cases when I’m mixing with a 2 track instrumental, I usually go for an enhancing mindset. most producers print the 2 track pretty close to how they want the beat to knock. Now all I have to do is make it better.
What do you specifically do to manipulate the transients in a 2 track where you don’t have access to the stems?
