The drums and bass on the Arctic Monkeys’ ‘AM’ record had such a great distorted sound.
Could you share some insights about the level of distortion and any favorite plugins you used to achieve that unique sound?

The distortion used on that album is pretty much my normal processing. I tried to keep it as a subtext and not overwhelm the songs. SansAmp on the kick (which usually has bleed from the snare so adds that colour as well) and parallel Spectrosonic 610s or Eventide Omnipressor plugins on the OHs. t
