Hey Jaycen saw a while back you where in the studio with dexter simmons. I am curious what did you learn from that experience. Any techniques you incorporated into your workflow (33609/2055??). And do you do anything to replicate some of those technqiues ITB. Thanks!
Dexter is a Savant. Not only does he know everything when it comes to engineering he also knows everyone else’s technique cause he too is a student of the game… When ever I connect with someone of Dexter’s status I just love learning his approach to mixing. More importantly than what he’s using… So am always picking his brain on the different ways he attacks drums. Think Shadow Hills Compressor.
