Favourite strings library when you don´t have a player for recording

I love recording strings, but what´s your goto library for those case that you don’t have a real player? any recommendation?

How do you deal to simulate the space for a proper stereo image in this case?

I mainly just use Kontakt Factory Library Strings, or there is an old Refx Nexus program that has a lot of string patches (a lot of them sound kinda funny… but that’s what I like about them)

In terms of simulating space with soft synth strings, I don’t really put too much thought into it (if I’m being honest) I usually just add EQ and some reverb and play around with adding as many layers / panning as needed until it feels good.
