Do you have any specific tips on how to glue instruments together in the most effective way possible? Any specific techniques on glue compression or any means of glueing (EQ, busses, etc.) ?

Glue seems to be different for everybody. It used to be noise and saturation from analog tape was the Grail. SSL bus compressor does it for many.
My mix glue I guess is the saturation plugins I use. Mainly, Phoenix and Satin on the 2 buss (noise turned off).
