I have a question regarding the phase on the Sub Kick on the drums multitrack available for download.
I understand that everything in audio is best when it sounds best but I would like to understand your choice better, if you don’t mind.
In comparaison to the Kick in out Kick out, the sub Kick ‘looks’ out of phase.
I’ve been trying to flip phase, and I find that you get more level but also unpleasant low mids. But as soon as you get more into eq, I find that you can get more efficient with the phase reversed…
Am I wrong? What is your thought on that, please?
