Session organization - software instruments - track bounces

Hi Tchad,

what do you expect or wish for from a session to be like organize wise when receiving it and what would you change immediately?

Do you like to have access to the software/MIDI instruments and the plugins that where used to achieve a certain sound or should all the tracks be bounced with that information?

Does an artist inform you when their tracks were send to other mixing engineers as well or do you never know about that and if your mixes will be released?

I’m not too fussy.
I make sure to say if there are any plugins, fx, treatments that are essential, please bounce to audio.
I don’t like hearing roughs then, when I get the session it sounds totally different and the artist wants it like the rough. I’m not good at copying or mimicking. Bounce to audio all sounds you want to keep.
Send midi if you like. Can always ne hidden.
Not usually told if there are other mixers involved.
