Wonderful video

Tony,

Very nice work on this video recreating the Air track. Your workflow is super clean, logical, and effective. Incredible results.

How are delivering mixes to mastering? Is there a ‘heated’ version for refs (say with L2 or Ozone) versus us the SSL style comp and GML EQ on the stereo bus? What sample rate and bit depth? Are you bouncing mixes or printing them real time?

Much love,

EKJ

Thanks Eric… !! For mastering I deliver a limited (‘heated’) mix which would be the mix the artist and myself have been living with. I also deliver a version with no limiting and a version with limiting -3dB. That gives the mastering engineer flexibility with headroom in case they need it. I pretty much always work at 24 bit 96kHz. I print mixes in real time. I’ve had a few glitches happen when bouncing mixes so it makes me nervous for final prints. -Tony
