I produced it and i did this Rough mix. Did my best but still sounds like…
I think this guys deserves to sounds better and so to be mixed by the great CLA !!

I am including a song by up and coming Lithuanian artist Emilija Karosaite for your consideration. It has a lot of dynamics, a lot of different parts and goes from soft to heavy throughout, so it allows for plenty of teaching opportunities.
Here’s what I would love to get CLA’s take on regarding this song:
- How he would mix a vocal that is in a foreign language to him
- How he would mix a song that has big dynamic shifts from soft to loud, while maintaining a coherent drum sound throughout
- How he would mix the very fuzzy guitars in the chorus, keep them big, and still maintain the details in the other instruments, such as the soft female vocals and the ghost notes on the drums
-How he would choose to utilize the many room mics that are in this recording. What would he place where, back to front and left to right.
Give the track a listen, it is well recorded and should sound massive with CLA’s touch.

These are the raw unprocessed/unmixed tracks from our upcoming release. They include live drums, bass, vocals, a plethora of guitars, keys and a 10 piece horn section. The only machine tracks are the percussion loops!
This is a straight ahead faders up rough mix. There is no preconception as to the final mix. We trust CLA completely to work his magic if this track is chosen.
