Welcome to the official submission thread for our upcoming community mixing session with Chris Lord-Alage.
How To Apply:
Please upload and post your submission to this thread. We also invite you to share any insights into your creative process in the description.
Formats allowed: YouTube, Samply, Spotify, SoundCloud etc.
No Local Downloads such as WeTransfer.
The winning multitrack will be made available for all members to download. See Rules & Consent for more information.
Deadline:
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, March 26 2026. The winner will be contacted via email on Friday, March 27 in order to transfer the complete multitrack session. The live mixing broadcast will take place on Monday March 30.
Rules & Consent:
All featured artists or personnel must consent for their work to be used in an official video presentation. All rights holders must also consent to sharing the multitrack stems with the MWTM community for non-commercial, educational use only.
Selection Criteria:
Please note that sonic perfection is not a requirement. Technical defects are part of the learning process and will be seen as opportunities to learn and grow. Popular vote will be considered in the selection process, so we encourage you to like or comment on your favorite submissions.

Hi, my name is Chris Place. My band Planet Sean recently released an EP called The April Sickening which has the song āBodhicittaā (bo-dee-CHIT-uh). This song is about the search for truth in a life full of confusion and temptation. We really enjoy the whole process of creating music, from writing to recording and mixing. CLA is the sole reason I got seriously back into mixing and making music (and the main reason to subscribe MWTM). I love his no nonsense teaching and mixing style and his plugins too. Hey! I recently (just last week) made this instrumental āNature Walkingā. Feel like my limited mixing skills could be limiting this track, so would love to see it in the hands of Chis Lord-Alage.
During writing I got really inspired by Daniel Lopatinās recent soundtrack in Marty Supreme.
NW is currently being circulated to streaming services as a single but would be revisiting the project to include in an EP, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!
This is my song THOUSAND MILES that I wrote with my wife Alma Goodman and produced myself. I was going for a big early 2000s Killers vibe but I inexpertly missed the mark! 
For CLA to get his hands on it would be a dream.

Hey, Iām Aksel Krystad from the Nowegian Pop-Rock duo 2AM-DM. Weāre super inspired by bands CLA has worked with, and love the way he brings punch, clarity and always the right emotion to the mix. This track is fully self-produced, and weāve pushed it as far as we can sonically, but we truly believe it needs that final level of impact that Chris is known for.
If this gets picked, weāre confident this could turn into something really special.

Submitting this song is already exciting for me, but the possibility of having Chris Lord-Alge mix it would be something truly special. His sound has inspired the way we write and produce our music. Hi! Iām Yana from alt-rock/post-punk band Red Red Rose. Iād like to submit our unreleased song Countersadness that is self-recorded and now being mixed by me . Itās always exciting to have an opportunity to learn from the greats, so a huge thank you to MWTM team for this.
I am a staff producer and engineer at the Grand Canyon University Recording Studio. This song was a part of a collaborative project for our students that I worked on. Would love the opportunity to see how the legend would approach the song! Would be a great learning opportunity for our students to experience also. The song leverages multiple live and programmed elements as well as live amps and amp sim guitar tones.

My nameās Raman and I am the singer-songwriter-guitarist of an Australian band called earprojector. This is an unreleased song called āSlipping Into the Infinityā. I wrote all the lyrics in a cafe in the Reeperbahn, a red-light district in Hamburg, Germany which is partly famous for being where The Beatles played countless shows as an unknown band. I was feeling Ć¼ber inspired.
